Mommy Makeover
How much time do you have every day to spend on your physical appearance?? How often do you pass a mirror and think “Gosh, I am having a great hair day!” When was the last time you didn’t have to slap on some lip-gloss at a stop light? As moms and wives we dedicate ourselves to our children and husband and often times let ourselves go by the wayside and this needs to change. The honest truth is if we take a few moments every day to invest in ourselves than our overall feelings towards of happiness and fulfillment improve! Don’t believe me- then try it!
Camye and I were given the opportunity for a Mommy Makeover! We both felt extremely blessed with the opportunity since we would both admit that our physical appearance hasn’t been on the top of our to-do list these days.

Yikes, this was not easy to post!!! As you can see it was time to spruce up both of our looks!!
Our makeovers started at Salon Aria + Spa in Davenport Iowa with stylist Stacey Spillum. Talk about getting the best of the best Stacey has been at Styling for over 7 years and was recently awarded with a prestigious position with Aveda that is only given every 3-5 years. Besides being busy transforming hair Stacey is a wife and mom. Stacey started our appointments with a consultation. Camye and I both felt this was really important and were appreciative that Stacey took the time to explain what she was going to do to our hair. Both Camye and I started our appointments by saying we are moms we can’t have great hair-WAIT look at Stacey’s hair and she is a mom. Stacey wouldnt let us pull that excuse anymore!
One of the very best things about Stacey is that she is FULL of tips to make your style last longer, and ways to create the looks that you have always wanted!!!! If you are looking for a stylist that will take the time to discuss what you want with your hair, and that will teach you how you can have that salon look everyday look no further than Stacey!!!
After our hair appointments we headed to Mint Green in the East Village of Davenport. Devon Schaaf, Independent Arbonne Consultant rolled out the red carpet for us and started on our faces!! Camye and I both were really excited about this as we wanted to learn a few tips of the trade with makeup! My favorite product of Arbonne is the Primer. I am not a primer lover but if you dont want to reapply your makeup through the day this is the product!!!!
Arbonne has a full line of makeup and we were able to customize the eye colors and learn different ways to apply makeup. We discussed as a group how we get into a routine of applying makeup so it is crucial every so often to refresh our look and try new things.
