I have transitioned from early childhood teacher to stay-at-home mom to work-at-home mom. I have an artsy, creative husband and three rambunctious children- especially the 1-year-old! Balancing family, life, and blogosphere is a daily challenge. I love making to-do lists and checking things off, searching for the world’s best chocolate-chip cookie recipe, and tackling DIY projects. I’m not sure what I’d change but know I’d like a change. I had my hair done today & I like it, but bc I didn’t know what to do with it I had just a little bit trimmed. I need someone to tell me what hairstyle I need!!!

  4. Melanie February 24, 2012 at 8:52 PM #

I would love to update my style. I hit 30 soon and am feeling in a rut! Some make up tips or a new outfit to get me feeling not so bland would be awesome!

  5. Megan February 24, 2012 at 8:53 PM #

I would probably like a new hair cut or a new outfit. My husband makes fun of me because I still (try and) wear clothes that I wore in high school…over 10 years ago!!! Yikes!

  6. Angie February 24, 2012 at 8:55 PM #

Where do I start? I need someone with more of an idea of what would look good on me to do my hair, then someone to help me with makeup, and some new clothes couldn’t hurt either! :)

  10. Jenny Hofmann February 24, 2012 at 9:01 PM #

I can remember a few years ago after the birth of my second child being in a dressing room at Von Maur hearing a couple of young, thin gals right next to me talking about trying on “light jeans” the one said to the other- “I hear they are coming back!” I remember my mouth about hit the floor as I looked down at my old, light jeans- until that point I had no idea they even went “out”! I think I may be in need of a Mommy Makeover!

  11. Heather T. February 24, 2012 at 9:03 PM #

New hair style hands down! Im always complaining about my hair but am too cheap to pay for a good style. I was just thinking today I need new eye shadow look too. :) this sounds so fun!

I am a mom of three boys. Peyton is my oldest, he is 6 and has an extremely rare neurological disease that there is noe cure for. My middle son Preston is 3 and my baby boy Parker is 8 months. Since my son was diagnosed with this disease in May of 2011, I have had NO TIME for anything. We spent from August until November 29 @ University of Iowa Children’s Hospital for Peyton’s bone marrow transplant. Day in and day out I spend in our home due to Peyton not being able to be exposed to others. I feel bad for my husband who doesn’t have the same wife as he once did. I am too busy to worry about make up..doing my hair not to mention that it has NO style anymore! Please Help. I’m a mess :)

I would love to have a make over! I’ve always wished someone would tun me in for “What Not To Wear”! I would love to change up my clothing style as I am most comfortable in my exercise pants and hoodie and for makeup I usually only wear a little foundation and eye liner when I go anywhere. A new hair style on top of that and I’d be good to go!

Oh, how to stay hip?! With four children, 6 and younger, all off my energy is zapped and I have no time to keep up my look. Between homeschooling my oldest daughter, chasing after my three year old son, continually wiping up my one year old daughter, and caring for our 5 month old baby girl there hasn’t been much time, other than to throw on a pair of jeans and my hair up in a pony.
It would be a perfect year for a tune-up since I will be turning 30 this year and my husband and I are coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary. I’d love to be the beautiful blonde bombshell he married once again.

  57. Rebekah February 26, 2012 at 2:16 AM #

With baby number four due this year there is no question why I NEED an update. I am almost 28 and feel at least ten years older! My blessings are truly innumerable but an update would be fun.

  58. Sara February 26, 2012 at 3:33 PM #

I wear boring plain colored shirts and jeans all the time. I need to spice up my wardrobe. My makeup also could use an update. I think the teenagers at work if I’m a mom isn’t really a compliment!

  59. Cheri Janiczek February 27, 2012 at 6:24 AM #

I’m going to be 54 in a couple weeks & I would love to have a makeover. Over the past 5 years, I have let my hair grow out & it’s really long and straight & boring. I just pull it back into a ponytail or chignon every day because I don’t like to take time to do anything fancy with it. It’s convenient, but I would like to try something different for awhile, although I don’t know what hairstyle would look good on me. I have looked at many styles in magazines but need a professional person to help decide. I could also use some new makeup ideas since I have done basically the same makeup shades & ideas for alot of years.

What I need to change about my current look: I have a little guy who will be 1 on 3/3, so the last year has been a whirlwind! I have gotten lazy with a capital L. My hair has been neglected as has my clothes and makeup. I have lost 70lb since the day he was born and now none of my clothes fit right.

I had an awesome and easy pregnancy, but as an “older” (going on 34) first-time mom, my body hasn’t really bounced back to its former self. I gained 48 pounds and have lost 28 of them so far. I’m in a “transition” stage and plan on losing more weight, but want to look pretty and have some nice clothes in the meantime. I thought I’d never let it happen, but I’m a frumpy mom!

Help! I just turned 34 and don’t want to look my age. I haven’t seen the inside of a salon in almost a year. I live with men (husband and 3 sons) and I’m afraid I’m starting to look like one. It always seems to me that other mommies look so much nicer than I do.
